Caixa Capital backs doDOC, the first Portuguese Techstars company

Company raised significant seed capital during build up to Demo Day Caixa Capital backs chronic wounds startup

doDOC (Techstars 2015), headquartered in Boston with office in Portugal, raised $200 thousand from Caixa Capital. 

doDOC platform helps pharmaceutical companies bring new drugs to market faster by streamlining regulatory documents, ensuring simplicity, auditability and compliance. 

The deep level of collaboration and compliance required by biopharmaceutical companies to manage risks and succeed in bringing new drugs to market needs to be supported by systems than can handle the demands and constrains of regulations. doDOC is architected to accelerate regulatory compliance. The uniqueness of doDOC resides in its ability to deconstruct documents into their basic elements, which allows the creation, gathering and management of granular information regarding the progress of a document, something that no other platform can do.

In the past September 1st, doDOC's co-founder and CEO, Federico Cismondi presented the company at Techstars Boston 2015 Demo Day. Over 1,000 people were present in the event, where after being introduced by Scott Wilkins, Collaboration and Innovation Director of AstraZeneca, Federico took the stage and shared the story of the company, the team passion for helping biopharmaceutical companies to deal with regulatory documents, and doDOC's vision for the future.
